Pilot venue applications open

For hotels, coworking and coliving operators

Verified Venue

Replace vague “fast Wi-Fi” claims with a repeatable test at work-relevant locations and times. The badge describes observed evidence and expires when it is no longer current.

Target: €149 audit + €19/month monitoring

Proposed beta scope

What it is designed to include

  • Documented test plan covering work areas, rooms and representative busy periods
  • Download, upload, latency, jitter, loss and stability observations
  • Public verification page with method, date and limitations
  • Embeddable badge that expires without current evidence
  • Monitoring prompts and change history for venue teams

Guardrails

Trust comes before the upsell

Payment covers the audit process and monitoring; it never buys a passing result.

A failed or incomplete check is not silently converted into a positive badge.

Venue-level results remain separate from country rankings unless they qualify under the public aggregation method.

Where it fits

Practical use cases

Hotels serving remote workers

Show evidence from the desk and work areas instead of advertising the ISP package maximum.

Coworking operations

Track whether busy-hour upload, latency and redundancy meet the service promise.

Multi-property groups

Use one repeatable checklist across venues while publishing each location’s own evidence.

Straight answers

Does paying guarantee verification?

No. The fee pays for a defined audit and monitoring workflow. The public outcome must match the observations, including limitations or a failed threshold.

How long does a badge last?

The pilot will use an explicit observation date and expiry. The exact renewal interval will be set after testing seasonal and busy-hour variance with pilot venues.

Will venue data change its country score?

Not directly. Venue observations and country aggregates have different sampling frames. Data can contribute only through the same published validation and aggregation rules as other measurements.
